Ballinasloe (Irish: Béal Átha na Sluaighe) is a town located on the East part of County Galway. 

It is famous for the Ballinasloe October Fair, one of the oldest horses fair in Europe that attracts up to 100,000 visitors from all over the world.

The town is located a few kilometers east of Kilconnell and Lough Callow.
