Carrowkeel (Irish: An Cheathrú Chaol) is a Neolithic passage tomb cemetery in the south of County Sligo, near Boyle in County Roscommon. Recent Carbon 14 datation studies suggest that the site has been built between 5400 and 5100 years ago, or 500 to 800 years before the construction of the Pyramids on Egypt's Giza plateau.

A small rural road will lead you to a parking lot arranged in a boggy countryside. This place is really appreciated by the locals who enjoy walking in between two mountains, surrounded by nosy sheeps. From the top of the hill, one of the finest view of Ireland, with the Benbulbin Sligo at the North and Lough Arrow at the East...
